Introducing…..YouthSMART!
YouthSMART is the Office for Youth’s new online application and reporting system for young people, organisations and stakeholders.
It’s a resource for anyone who needs information to join a program, apply for funding, to report on how funds have been spent, and to tell us what results have been achieved. YouthSMART is all about streamlining and providing better customer service to our service providers and young people.
What does it do?
YouthSMART replaces the paper-based application, reporting and acquittal processes previously used by the Office.
For example, where you would have previously applied for grants or programs by filling out and sending in a paper-based document, you can now log into YouthSMART and apply on-line. Not only that but you will be able to use YouthSMART to track the progress of your application, and if successful, report your progress and acquit your funding electronically.
Young people will also be able to keep track of the different activities they are involved in with the Office for Youth through YouthSMART.
When does it start?
Over the next few months the Office for Youth will be moving the details from our existing programs and grants to YouthSMART. This means that if you are already involved in any current Office for Youth activities we will be entering your details onto the system. When we have finished inputting your details, you will receive a login name and password so that you can get access to the system.
To access YouthSMART, just head to the Office for Youth home page and click on the YouthSMART icon. This will take you to the login screen where you can enter the login and password details you have been emailed.
We strongly recommend that you verify the details that have been entered on your behalf by the Office. Making sure your details are correct will ensure you don’t miss out on future opportunities, and that you will be sent reminders regarding your program or grant progress reports or funding payments.
If you are new to the Office or not currently involved in any of our activities, just head to the Office for Youth home page, click on the YouthSMART icon and get started……
What if I need help?
An interesting feature of YouthSMART is the various self videos that have been created to support you to navigate through the system. These videos are quick and informative and can be activated by simply clicking on the video icon in the section you need help with.
If you have any questions about YouthSMART you can talk directly with the relevant Office for Youth Program Manager or you can e-mail the Office on ofy@saugov.sa.gov.au
As we bring YouthSMART fully online over the coming months, we anticipate that the processes associated with your engagement in Office for Youth grants and programs will become quicker and easier. We value your support during this transition and encourage you to get involved with the full range of programs and services provided by the Office for Youth.
Kind regards
